Affiliate Partner Terms

Thanks for joining the Sapsuckers® affiliate program! Here's a plain-language summary of how it works. By checking the agreement box on the sign-up form, you're agreeing to these terms.

The basics

• You'll get a personalized discount code to share with your audience.
• You earn 10% commission on the net sale price of every order placed with your code (excluding tax, shipping, and anything refunded).
• Commission is calculated on orders placed within 30 days of someone using your code.

Getting paid

• Commissions are totaled up monthly and paid by e-transfer within 15 days of month-end.
• If you've earned less than $50 CAD in a month, it rolls over to the next month until you hit that minimum.
• We hold commission on an order until its return window closes (30 days from delivery), just in case it's returned.

What we ask of you

• Let your audience know it's a paid/affiliate relationship when you share your code (a simple "#ad" or "#affiliate" works).
• Keep your claims about our products honest and accurate.
• Use only the photos, logos, and copy we've given you or approved — please don't alter our logo.
• Don't bid on "Sapsuckers" in paid search ads, and don't offer discounts beyond your code.

The relationship

You're an independent partner, not an employee — you're responsible for your own taxes on any commission earned. Either of us can end this arrangement anytime with two weeks' notice; if we end it, you'll still be paid for anything you've already earned.
